Welcome to your SEASON OF ENLARGEMENT!
We have been believing and the time is NOW! God is
calling His people to possess the promise that has been ours all along. He is calling those with willing hearts to join in the sacrifice that makes seasons of possession possible. I pray that the vision of God would stir you, and the Word of God would produce FAITH to believe that we are well able to possess the promise and step into our SEASON OF ENLARGEMENT!
I would ask that you be prayerful concerning each step that we must take toward the completion of the building project. Consider how you and your family would sacrifice in your giving to make it possible. Stephanie and I love you. We look forward to taking this journey with YOU!
We are in an incredibly exciting season here at The Kingdom Center. We have been waiting, praying, and believing. Our SEASON OF ENLARGEMENT has arrived, and it is time to rise and build! Just a few weeks ago, God sent us the prophetic voice of Dr. Bagwell to declare the Word of the Lord that this was indeed our SEASON OF ENLARGEMENT, and little did he know, he was confirming what God was leading behind the scenes. Dr. Bagwell gave us “keys” to step through the door of God’s provision. I believe that as we use the keys, and become willing and obedient to move with God, that our Season of Enlargement is waiting.
I want to remind you of several things as we prepare as a body to walk through the door of enlargement into the provision of God. Everything that God does. He does in time. “To everything there is a season and a time!” It is God who directs the times and the seasons for His people. It can feel as if you wait forever for something to happen, but when it is time, nothing can stand in the way. Everything God does is preceded by His Word. When God gets ready to do a thing in the lives of His people, He prepares us in advance with His Word. It is the Word that we obey that determines the future we create. God has sent us His Word to prepare us. His Word never returns void of accomplishing what He sends it to do. We must come into agreement to see it come to pass. It is important to note we are never allowed to walk through a “God door” without a willingness to sacrifice. There is always a cost associated with seasons of expansion and building. Until we are willing to pay the price, we will never realize the full vision of God for our lives.
I want to ask you to stand with Stephanie and I as we believe God in this season. First in prayer. I believe in the power of the prayer of agreement. As we join in prayer, I know that God will hear and answer. Secondly, I would ask you to stand with us in your sacrificial giving. We need to raise $250,000 to finish the architectural process, site plan development, and initial general contractor fees as we prepare to build. We will be receiving a special offering on Sunday November 17th. I believe that God will strengthen us as a family to take care of that need. I want to ask you to prayerfully consider how you and your family will participate in that special offering. Stephanie and I love you and we are so excited to walk with each of you into this SEASON OF ENLARGEMENT.
I want to draw your attention to a little story found in the book of Mark about Jesus and an observation He made at church one Sunday.
Mark 12:41-44, And Jesus sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the offering box. Many rich people put in large sums. And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny. And He called his disciples to him and said to them, “Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.”
There are several things that I find so fascinating here. First, that Jesus was so interested in this particular part of the service. I think that many of us would think that He is most interested in how we respond to the worship song or the preacher’s invitation; but Jesus was watching and taking note of what each person GAVE. He was looking intently at each person’s level of generosity. Secondly, I find it interesting that Jesus didn’t count the amount given, He counted the sacrifice it took to give it. When He told the disciples that the widow woman had given more than them all, He wasn’t talking about how much she gave. He was talking about how much she sacrificed.
I want to encourage you today, that God doesn’t call us to equal giving. He calls us to EQUAL SACRIFICE. God asks us to give where we are. To sacrifice where we are. The rich people that gave in the offering observed by Jesus gave more than the widow woman, but they sacrificed much less. I wonder what the offering would have been if everyone present had sacrificed the same?
God has called us as a church family into a SEASON OF ENLARGEMENT. To build a building to house the growth that He is desperate to send. That building is a tool to see those who are far from Christ find a home in Him! To see families find purpose in His House, and young people be trained in His ways. Growth and expansion in God’s House always calls for the people to move to a new level of sacrifice. Stephanie and I are covering you in prayer today as you prepare to give in our Season of Enlargement offering on November 17th. I know that He is watching and I know that He is going to be pleased with our sacrifice!
My heart is drawn to the character of David in the Bible. His life was a blockbuster movie! Yet it is his vulnerability and authenticity in the Psalms that I most identify with. David was a warrior, a worshipper, and a visionary. Towards the end of his reign his heart was drawn towards the building of a house for the presence of God, and for the worship of the people of God. He said to Nathan, his companion and trusted counselor, “Behold, I am dwelling in a house of cedar, but the ark of the covenant of the Lord resides under curtains.”
I think it is beautiful that David wanted God’s presence to have a place! Not just any place, a place that was as glorious as the presence it would contain. He began to gather the things necessary to see it through. I feel like we are in a similar season here at The Kingdom Center. We are gathering the things necessary to see the building of God’s House through.
David made an appeal to the people and challenged them to join him in these preparations. The Bible says in 1 Chronicles 29:6 that “they offered willingly.” David was so overcome with the people’s generosity that he began to sing! He said, “Blessed be thou, Lord God of Israel our Father, forever and ever! Thine, Oh Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty!” Then David asks God an interesting question, and then he answers his own question.
1 Chronicles 29:14-17, David asks, “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be ABLE TO GIVE as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and WE HAVE GIVEN YOU ONLY WHAT COMES FROM YOUR HAND. We are foreigners and strangers in your sight, as were all our ancestors. Our days on earth are like a shadow, without hope. Lord our God, all this abundance that we have provided for BUILDING YOU A TEMPLE for your Holy Name COMES FROM YOUR HAND.”
David asks, “who are WE to be ABLE to give like this?” And then he answers himself, “only because YOU GAVE TO US!” He is acknowledging that their ability to BE GENEROUS was only because their God had been generous to them! They were able to BE A BLESSING because they had been blessed! They were only “returning” to God what had been given to them BY GOD.
As we prepare to give for the building of God’s House in this SEASON OF ENLARGEMENT, I declare that we are going to GIVE because God has so freely given to us! We are going to BE A BLESSING because we have been blessed!
In the heart of our fall conference, Kingdom Culture, Apostle Jim Raley gave a powerful, on-time word. His message the “Takeback Tour” speaks directly to possessing the promise God has laid before us.
Catch this message in its entirety HERE, but pay special attention to this clip above that highlights the principle of sowing and reaping in this season, and as Apostle says, “sow where you want to go.”
As you prepare your contribution to the November 17th Building Fund Offering, stay encouraged that God’s word breathes life into our endeavors. His vision has given clear direction. The period of waiting is over. The time to build is now.

I had a thought the other day that captured and blessed my heart completely, and I want to share it with you. As a man I can easily get weighed down in thoughts and concerns that in reality I can do very little about except to PRAY. In this season where God is calling me, and our ministry, forward in faith for ENLARGEMENT, I can very easily slip into “worry mode” where I begin to try and figure out the “how”. Even though I know that “how” is not my problem, my mind can quickly get in the weeds of worry.
The other day, I was having one of my “worry about problems only God can solve” moments and the Spirit of God spoke so sweetly to my heart. “Why are you worrying if there will be ENOUGH when you serve the God of MORE THAN ENOUGH?” Immediately my mind went to Exodus 36. Moses was receiving the offering for the building of the tabernacle, and the hearts of the people were so opened by the spirit of generosity.
Listen to the testimony in Exodus 36:3-7, “And they received from Moses all the contribution that the people of Israel had brought for doing the work on the sanctuary. They still kept bringing freewill offerings every morning, so that all the craftsmen who were doing every sort of task on the sanctuary came, each from the task that he was doing, and said to Moses, ‘The people bring much more than enough for doing the work that the Lord has commanded us to do.’ So Moses gave command, and word was proclaimed throughout the camp, ‘Let no man or woman do anything morefor the contribution for the sanctuary.’ So the people were restrained from bringing more, because WHAT THEY ALREADY HAD WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH TO DO ALL THE WORK.”
When I got to those words more than enough, it brought tears to my eyes! My “faith baby” began to jump and my spirit began to agree with the Word. We serve a God of MORE THAN ENOUGH. They didn’t have just enough to complete the work. They had MORE THAN ENOUGH!
Often, our temptation is to allow the “largeness’ of our need to diminish the size of our God. We look at our mountain and wonder how we will ever have the strength to move it. It is in these moments that we must remember that we serve a God who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we could ask or even think.
As we approach this Sunday, November 17th and our Season of Enlargement Offering for the building of the new facility, I want to encourage you to believe with Stephanie and I; not that there will be enough to meet the need, but that there would be more than enough!
